Always call before coming in with an emergency to make sure a doctor is on site to assist you. After-hours emergencies are restricted to regular clients of Mac’s Landing, with exceptions made for visitors and newcomers to the area as allowed. Emergency cases - both small animals in the clinic and farm calls - are treated in the order of their urgency until 10 pm.. Cases of equal emergency are treated on a first come, first served basis. Although we are not staffed 24/7, we may hospitalize severely ill patients overnight for IV fluid therapy, thermal support, or other necessary care. Hospitalized animals are kept in separate cages, with individualized nursing care.

A doctor is on call after hours Monday-Thursday until 10pm. Support staff are available when the need arises.

When the doctors are unavailable for critical case care or emergencies after 10pm on weekdays, all weekends, and on all holidays, for small animals, we refer to:
